The nature I have photographed shows up mostly in town. This is confined nature: parks, recreational areas, dioramas, golf and soccer fields. Nature intended for the fun, too far from Romantic aesthetics...
... Nevertheless, characters are placed in the images as if they experienced the romantic longing to identify with nature. Are they absorbed in their games or fascinated spectators? Recalling our pictorial tradition I have tried to evoke the ecstatic characters from Caspar David Friedrich or Breughel's countrysides.Pablo Avendaño
